Game Overview

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is the second chapter in the hit horror series created by Scott Cawthon. You take on the role of Jeremy Fitzgerald, a night security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Unlike the first game, this version removes the protective doors, leaving you with a Freddy mask, flashlight, and a camera system to defend yourself from haunted animatronics that roam at night. Your mission is to survive from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM for five consecutive nights.

How to Play Five Nights at Freddy’s 2

  • Move your mouse to switch between security cameras.
  • Press and hold SPACE or CTRL to activate the flashlight.
  • Put on the Freddy Fazbear mask to hide from animatronics that enter your office.
  • Keep the music box wound up on Cam 11 to avoid being attacked by The Puppet.
  • Listen for sound cues and check air vents regularly.

Key Animatronics

  • Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica: Appear friendly but are extremely dangerous.
  • Mangle: Enters through ceiling vents and emits static noises.
  • Withered Foxy: Must be stopped with repeated flashlight use.
  • Balloon Boy: Disables your flashlight, leaving you vulnerable.
  • The Puppet: Attacks if the music box runs out.

Tips and Tricks

  • Monitor Cam 11 frequently to keep the music box active.
  • Use the Freddy mask immediately when an animatronic appears.
  • Flash Withered Foxy with your light to make him leave.
  • Avoid wasting flashlight power as it is limited.
  • Balloon Boy doesn’t kill, but can ruin your defenses.
  • Listening to audio cues is essential for survival.

  • Night 1: Introduces basic mechanics with fewer threats.
  • Night 2: Increases difficulty and adds more active enemies.
  • Night 3: Brings Withered animatronics and Mangle into play.
  • Night 4: Focuses on Foxy and The Puppet’s aggressive behavior.
  • Night 5: Combines all threats and requires fast reflexes and multitasking.
